Bible Study - Our Bible Study Day is Wednesday starting at 2pm for one hour. We are studying the Book of Matthew currently.
Come be a part of our discussions and learning. God is calling YOU to go deeper in your understanding of His Word.
Our mission is to become a "hub" for making disciples. We do that by worshipping together, studying the Word together, praying together and fellowshipping together. We also try to be as intentional as possible with inviting others to join us in all of those activities. Some of our discipleship areas include Weekly Bible Study, Corporate Prayer, Bible Based Sermons, and Corporate Worship.
Greetings and salutations to all of our members, guests, friends, shut ins, and visitors.
Thanks to all who helped us set up, support, and put our Fellowship Hall back together so we could facilitate our first Blood Drive of the Year. 23 donors came out to donate; 1 for the FIRST TIME DONATING...out of those 23 only 4 were unable to donate, leaving us with 21 donors...The Red Cross defines a “successful outing” as 20 USEABLE donors...so we were SUCCESSFUL. They are still desperately seeking a donor whose blood type may be a match for a current sickle cell patient in need, so if you have never donated, PLEASE consider trying. It is one of our VITAL LOCAL OUTREACH events . Together we can have a great impact in the small communities around us. Our first goal is always to meet the SPIRITUAL needs of the local community...but our SECONDARY goals are to help meet their emotional and physical needs.
Another (much less impactful) outreach is also underway...we have set up our Girl Scout Cookies on the Piano in the fellowship hall. One of reasons our Hoagie Sales are so successful is because we don’t price gouge. We take the same approach with our Girl Scout Cookies. Our cookies are STILL only $5.00 per box, where other Troops are raising their prices to $6-8 a box. One of the great lessons the girls learn each year is that if you want something you have to be willing to earn it by working for it.
Stay tuned for updates as to when we will be hosting the Mid Week Lenten Service at our church. I will keep you posted when I learn the theme / dates / locations for the 2025 Lenten Journey.
Be sure to let people know that our entire building is climate controlled, and you will be warm and comfortable in the cooler temps and now we have an option available for those who need it for the worship service to be watched live in our fellowship hall. Don’t let the colder temps or the stairs deter you from attending.
God bless, Pastor Todd Glasmire
